Project Background

A customer in the United Kingdom planned to install a 10-meter cooling tunnel for their cookie and egg-based products. However, due to limited workshop length, a standard straight cooling tunnel could not fit into the existing production layout.

To solve this challenge, the customer proposed a concept for a turning cooling tunnel, allowing products to change direction during cooling while maintaining continuous operation.


Customer Requirements

  • Total cooling length of 10 meters

  • Adaptation to limited factory space

  • Products to enter from Conveyor A and exit from Conveyor B

  • Smooth and stable transfer between conveyors

  • Ability to visually monitor products during operation


Our Customized Solution

Based on the customer’s idea and production requirements, we designed and manufactured a customized turning cooling tunnel with the following features:

  • Two straight cooling conveyors connected by a turning conveyor in the middle, allowing a smooth 90-degree product transfer

  • Continuous cooling process while changing direction, ensuring stable product flow

  • Optimized airflow and temperature distribution throughout the cooling tunnel

  • Glass observation windows installed along the tunnel, enabling operators to clearly observe product movement and cooling conditions in real time

This customized design allowed the customer to achieve the required cooling length without extending the workshop, making full use of the available space.


Results and Customer Feedback

After installation and testing, the cooling tunnel operated smoothly and met all production expectations. Products moved steadily from Conveyor A, through the turning section, and exited via Conveyor B with no disruption to product quality or line efficiency.

The customer was very satisfied with the finished cooling tunnel, especially appreciating:
